Orchard Park Community Garden is open
Kelso Garden Opening Day Event
What a brilliant time we had at the Orchard Park Community Garden opening event last Friday morning. It was a great opportunity for all partners and the local community to meet up for a blether and a cuppa, and to see how the garden is taking shape.
With a welcome from Amy (SBC’s Greenspace Programme Officer) and Karen (Chief Officer of Abundant Borders) – all parties were thanked and congratulated on the garden progress so far.
The rain held off for a while, and when it came, thankfully Abundant Borders’ Hannah was on hand with a gazebo from another community garden near by, so everyone was able to take shelter.
