Supporting you through lockdown

We may be back in lockdown… But our team members are continuing to provide essential services, doing all they can to keep you safe.

Our Winter newsletter introduced Solutions Team member Craig Inglis, one of the people taking part in making check-in calls to Tenants just to make sure that they’re ok.

A few quick questions for Craig:
Who are the Solutions Team?
‘We are the first point of contact for Tenants. We answer all calls and enquiries and solve problems or direct people to someone who can.’

What’s been the best thing about working from home during Covid?
‘I have two children and my wife is a key worker, so working from home gave me the flexibility to be there for my family and spend more time with my children, while still helping Tenants.’

What is the worst thing?
‘Like many Tenants at the moment, I’m spending a lot more time in the house. Working from home brings some challenges, and I miss my colleagues. But, although we can’t meet in person, we’re staying connected digitally.’

Tell us about the welfare calls SBHA put in place for Tenants.
‘I enjoyed supporting Tenants. In these difficult times it’s been rewarding helping people resolve their issues. Sometimes people were just happy to have a blether as they may not have seen anyone for days.’
