Tenant Engagement – get involved at SBHA!

Tenant Engagement is for all Tenants of SBHA and there are many ways you can get involved:

  • Take part in estate walkabouts with your Neighbourhood Team and help to improve your community.
  • Why not become a member of Scottish Borders Tenants Organisation (SBTO) and attend regular meetings and meet new people? See more benefits of joining below.
  • Register with SBHA to complete digital surveys and give us your feedback on a range of subjects.
  • Join a Customer Audit Team (CAT) looking at scrutiny projects on SBHA services. We are looking for Tenants for the project this summer.
  • Be a Tenant representative on a working group looking at SBHA policies that affect customers. We are currently looking for Tenants for two Policy reviews – the Anti-social Behaviour Policy and the Allocations Policy.
  • Become a shareholding member of SBHA (at a cost of £1) and vote at the AGM.
  • Tenants can be elected to SBHA’s Board of Management or Customer Board (you must be a shareholding member to be elected).
  • You can set up or join a local Tenant group in your area.
  • Get involved in our competitions and keep up to date via social media, our website and the Tenant Newsletter.

If you would like more information on how to get involved, please contact Louise McNeilage, Tenant & Community Engagement Facilitator, on 01750 724444 or send an email to communications@sbha.org.uk.
